The work of the Landscaping Committee blossoms at Brooks this spring.

           Who We Are

The Brooks Museum League is a group of approximately 140 members who strive to promote education in the fine arts and to support the projects and programs of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.

Each year, the League sponsors a Scholastic Arts juried competition for art students in the Memphis City Schools and area independent schools. After an awards ceremony, the varied works of art are displayed in the museum.

The League also sponsors the Decorators Showcase Home. The proceeds for this fabulous event are used for projects in the museum. For further information on these and other League projects, please click on "Activities" above on this page.

League members meet monthly to hear interesting speakers and many enjoy lunch at the Brushmark Restaurant following the meeting.

Membership in the League requires only an interest in arts in Memphis, the dedication to work on projects that promote the arts, and an inclination to enjoy the fellowship within the group.
